Hello!

I am thrilled to welcome you to Happy Kids Schools, Ghana. Ours is a private, co-educational institution that provides quality and inclusive education for all students from the Pre-school to the Junior High School (toddlers to adolescents). Our two schools are located in Kwashieman and Dawhenya, through which we serve students from different communities in Ghana.

Since our inception 30 years ago, we have remained one of the top private schools in Ghana, combining the Ghana Educational Curriculum with a specially designed lesson plan that emphasises creativity, academics, technology, volunteerism, physical and social development among our students. We currently have a student and staff population of over 850.

The school was founded by myself in 1993 as a French/English teacher and journalist on extended maternity leave. It began with one child in January 1993 in Kwashieman and soon grew to include 250 children in 3 months. Happy Kids Nursery developed organically to include a Primary and Junior High School, thus transitioning into Happy Kids School. In 2014, we set up a second school in Dawhenya.

Our aim is to train independent, confident and assertive leaders, as reflected in our extensive curriculum. We are inspired by our ability to help our students meet new challenges, learn new things and discover the world around them.

As our name denotes, we are rewarded by the joy of children's laughter and watching them grow into unique individuals.
